Multi day Central Hokkaido

Check out Hokkaido's biggest mountains.

Our exclusive "Central Hokkaido Adventure" package, offering a unique blend of lift-accessed and backcountry skiing and snowboarding across prime locations such as Furano, Asahidake, Kurodake, and other local ski fields like Kamui, Pippu, and Tomamu.
The snow is colder, drier and usually a lot less tracked than Niseko, you can usually find powder right through until April.

Lift Access Day Essentials: 

  • Powder Skis or Snowboard. 

  • Ski Poles with powder baskets: For snowboarders, collapsible poles will be required.

  • Ski/snowboard wear:

  • Down Jacke

  • Spare thermals (If you are a sweater a dry layer to change in is essential.)

  • Facemask/Balaclava - We recommend that you wear or carry a facemask and neck warmer.

  • Gloves - Please choose warm and well fitting gloves for skiing

  • Hiking gloves/Glove liners

  • Goggles - Bring goggles with high light and low light lenses if possible. 

  • Sunglasses: For the hike.

  • Avalanche safety equipment and minimum 20L backpack: beacon, shovel, probe -  Rentals are ¥5,000 per day. 

  • Snacks: We generally stop on the way but it is always good to have some snacks ready to go for the missions. 

Backcountry Day Essentials: 

  • Touring Skis, Splitboard or Climbing snowshoes - Skis with touring bindings and skins, or a split board with skins , with a regular snowboard you can also use snowshoes. If you don't have your own these you will need to rent some at least a day before the tour)

  • Ski Poles with powder baskets: For snowboarders, collapsible poles will be required.

  • Ski/snowboard wear: Wind and waterproof hard shell is ideal. 

  • Down Jacke

  • Spare thermals (If you are a sweater a dry layer to change in is essential.)

  • Facemask/Balaclava - We recommend that you wear or carry a facemask and neck warmer.
