Niseko Zen can guarantee that if for any reason we don’t think we can find good snow anywhere on the day of your trip with us, we will give you the option to reschedule to a different date or cancel with no charge.*

 

The final decision will be made by Niseko Zen staff.

*We ask you to cover any fees associated with transfer of money for refunding.

 

 

Payment Terms and Conditions:

 

If a booking is made more than 30 days ahead of your tour we require a deposit of 20% of total price to be submitted in order to secure the booking.  

 

Niseko Zen requires all fees to be paid 30 days prior to your trip.  If you make the booking within 30 days of your tour we ask for full payment at the time of booking.

 

Cancellation Policy:

 

Cancellation 30 days or more prior to booking = 80% Refund

 

Cancellation 15- 30 days prior to booking =  50% Refund 

 

Cancellation 0-15 days prior to booking = No refund. 

 

Payment Methods:

 

At the time of booking we will send you an invoice with a link to complete payment quickly and easily online via our payment provider Flywire.  We will send you a link to pay deposit first, or full price depending on how far in advance you book.
If you would like to pay via Japanese bank transfer please let us know and we can arrange an invoice specific to this payment type.

Insurance

 

We strongly recommend the purchase of travel insurance before your arrival in Japan, it is important to check that your travel insurance covers backcountry travel (if booking a trip that includes backcountry travel) or off-piste travel (if booking a guided day in resort or a ski/snowboard lesson).

Release of Liability, Waiver of Claims, Assumption of Risks and Indemnity Agreement (hereinafter the “Release Agreement”)

Niseko Zen LLC and their directors, officers, employees, guides, agents, independent contractors, subcontractors, representatives, successors and assigns (all of whom are hereinafter collectively referred to as the “Releasees").

 

DEFINITIONS In this Release Agreement, the term "wilderness activities" shall include all activities, accommodation, transportation, events and services provided, arranged, organised, conducted, sponsored or authorised by the Releasees and shall include but is not limited to: skiing, snowboarding, snowmobiling, hiking, snowshoeing and other form of backcountry travel; rental or use of skis, snowboards or other equipment; demonstrations; orientational and instructional courses; loading, unloading and travel by or movement in or around helicopters, snowcats, snowmobiles and motor vehicles; and other activities, events and services in any way connected with or related to wilderness activities. 

 

By participating in a Niseko Zen tour you will waive or give up certain rights including the right to sue or claim compensation.

 

I confirm that I have read and understood this release agreement prior to participating in a Niseko Zen tour and I am aware that in this release agreement I am waiving certain legal rights which I or my heirs, next of kin, executors administers, assigns and representatives may have a against releasees.

I am aware of the risks, dangers and hazards associated with wilderness activities and freely accept and fully assume such risks, dangers and hazards and the possibility of personal injury, death, property damage or loss therefrom.

 

Media Release

​

Niseko Zen reserves the right to use any photos or videos or other media of you for company purposes. If you don’t want any media of you to be used inform us and we will arrange for you to opt out.
